Our Vision

  The PSRR had a headquarters in Virginia until relocating to Philadelphia, PA and has been growing larger every year. PSRR has been adding new equipment to it's roster. Some of the newest additions to PSRR has been an Ex. Central New Jersey Railroad MOW Crane. Also they have acquired a CNJ Painted EMD SD70ACe and an Amtrak EMD F40PH. 

  The Philadelphia Southern Railroad's logo incorporates two of the fallen flags that became part of CSX such as the fireball of Western Maryland and the cat symbol of Chessie. 

Company Profile

PSRR, or Philadelphia Southern Railroad is an O Gauge model layout featuring equipment from previous rail lines from all over the eastern U.S. and time periods from the steam age to the latest diesels. Railroads range as far back as Pennsylvania Railroad in 1846 to the current CSX and Amtrak.  PSRR has many freight and passenger operations using a wide range of engines from 0-4-0 steam engine to the high tech SD70ACe. PSRR runs many daily passengers and freight trains. The Railroad's Trains that are used are Amtrak, New York Central, Pennsylvania Railroad, Norfolk Southern, and others
